Mothers & Daughters
Mothers & Daughters is a short film that follows Julia, a middle-aged woman who has left her career as an English professor to care for Thelma, her mother, who suffers from dementia. Julia's responsibilities to Thelma, her daughter, and her husband have rendered her physically, emotionally, and mentally drained. When Thelma wanders off one night, the family comes together to search for her, and in the process, gains a better understanding of their responsibilities to one another.
